Cleaning/Charging station junk.

I've purchased two of the Series 9 razors and the cleaning/charging station broke on both within 3 months.

Shaver is Great, SmartCare Center Wong One Shown

The shave is exceptional! The photo shows the SmartCare Center for this item with the three water drops lit up. That is NOT the one that comes with this shaver. That is an advanced model where you can select the level of clean. This comes with a basic cleaning station.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not Nearly as Good as My Old Norelco Rotary

Powerful...makes a lot of noise, but the shave IS NOT close at all...and I have a very difficult time getting parts of my neck. I always end up using a regular razor after to clean up. I don’t have a heavy beard...and the shave does not cover a whole day well.

Bad Switches

I've owned 2 series 9 Braun razors and both have faulty switches that just pop out..Of course they are broke, why can't you make a better switch? Is there a way to repair?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always been a fan of Braun shavers and am a loyal customer. This particular model is equipped to handle any situation, that is except longer beards. Be sure to use the trimmer first for best results.
There is a learning curve to any electric shaver but once you've got the feel for it you'll never go back. The 9 series is sleek and handles well, just be sure your face is prepared and trimmed before you use the shaver function.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bruan S9 is the "takin care of business" shaver loaded with all the bells and whistles. Weather you're on the go or getting ready for date night. Very close shave with no razor burn or complications. I like the travel case and travel lock so it doesn't accidentally turn on while traveling. Another great feature that really sold me was the self cleaning / charging dock combo! I usually keep a bearded look so the trimmer isn't very ideal but not a huge downfall and will just use a traditional beard trimmer for those needs.

Very Impressive Shave...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shaver works much better than other electric shavers I have tried, I actually was quite surprised. I have used electric shavers in the past but never felt that they did the job consistently and accurately enough to really impress me, they got what I needed done but I felt that when I wanted a close shave I needed to go back to my handy mug/brush, and razor.
I was aware of the Braun Brand but it was not until I received the Braun Series 9 9370cc Electric Shaver as a sample to demo that I knew about this specific model and some of the features I will review.
Over the course of 2.5 weeks I adopted this electric shaver into my normal routine, after the first couple of times using it people I worked with assumed I got a haircut, not that I had a fresh close shave, which was odd because I had not gotten a haircut I simply started maintain and shaving my facial hair with the Braun Shaver.
This shaver is smart, the self-cleaning feature is really awesome, it helps keep the blade sharp and at top performance. That being said I had to re-read the manual, it does sometimes run through multiple cleaning cycles, as opposed to one, they are short cycles, I just wasn't expecting this. The charging/cleaning station is really awesome, I like that it keeps it out and easily accessible, the shaver itself is sleek so displaying it doesn't feel bulky or out of place. I was a little worried about the price of the cleaning solution cartridge refills, but the fact that they last a 5-6 months and you can buy multi-packs at a decent price was comparable, if not better, to using shave cream/gel,foam, which you would use up quicker and over the same time as one cartridge would cost you more.
I would totally recommend this product to someone shaves regularly.
Love the travel case, do wish it had a second charge cord for travel case, I could see myself leaving the one plugged into the docking station at home, however it does hold a pretty long charge, so would depend on trip length
