There are some things it does well such as toasting (although it takes some time) and baking. Despite stating that there is a Broil function there is none. When I turned the function to broil the heating elements at the top of the oven did not heat up and I was baking my steak. Also, there is no preheat indicator. The oven is turned on with the timer, so I set it for five minutes and assume then that it is preheated and put the food in the oven and set it again for the amount of time rerequired.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The only problems are I could use a better explanation of using the convection bake i.e. temperature and time and I guess the air fryer . The baking tray after only a couple uses looks like one of my old baking tray and can't get it clean.

In almost every respect I have been totally pleased with The Cuisinart Air Fryer Toaster Oven. It is more powerful and more versatile than cheaper toaster ovens I owned previously.
And I LOVE the air fryer capability -- that was primarily why I picked this model.
But it has one major drawback -- when using the baking pan I always cover it with foil or parchment paper but it still gets a sticky discoloring grease residue on both top and bottom that I have found impossible to clean off.
If anyone at Cuisinart has any suggestions on how to deal with this problem, I would be glad to hear them -- thanks

The air fryer part works pretty well but don't expect the real taste of fried foods even with spray oil used. It comes out hard/crisp and the chicken is juicy but definitely not FRIED. Realistically, it does an okay job. However, if you are using for baking...really dial down the temperature from the recipe settings because it will burn your food. And, that is just on the bake setting. Keeping my current toaster oven until I figure out how to adjust temperature in the air fryer.

I have had my Air Fryer Toaster Oven about a month now. I really like it because the air fryer works better than my regular air fryer a lot faster. Beware though that with the oven even on just plane bake it cooks a lot faster than any toaster oven I've had. So you have to adjust your time and temperature. I have burned several things in it already, it is a learning curve. Left off 5th star because the pan that comes with it is what you have to use and even though I put tin foil on it it still discolored the first time I used it and I have tried to clean it with several things it just will not come clean. But all in all I really do like the appliance.

The oven is well made, looks great, functions fine.
The only problem is that since it's a tall and fairly deep machine, it's hard to read the dials when using under-counter lighting only. If the control panel was slightly pitched upward, the problem would be solved. For now we put the ceiling pendants on to read it (or memorize the dial positions).

I got this for Christmas this year after bugging for it since I saw it last year. I wanted an air fryers and my Breville Smart Oven was making me mad so I thought this would solve both issues. It doesn't. The oven part of it burns just about everything. You have to guess on temps and cook times for everything you make. There is a convection fan running all the time. The air fryer works well if you,again, juggle with the cook times and temps. It works great as a toaster. I honestly should have spent a little more and got another Breville. Bummer because I have a lot of great Cuisinart products I use every day.
