Overall we’re happy with the the oven! Reason for the 4 stars is the ability to know exactly what temp you’re heating the oven up to, but that’s our fault I guess for not getting the digital one. Also, it would be nice if the grill came out a bit when you open the door like our previous toaster oven. The grate doesn’t slide out as smoothly so make sure you have tongs or an oven mitt ready to pull it out.

After my first Cuisinart (refurbished) air fryer stopped working, I opted for a less expensive (new) different brand. I counted down the days for it to stop working so I could be rid of it and re-buy the Cuisinart. I eventually gave that replacement away. Good deals can be found on the Cuisinart if you are patient. Even without any discount, the Cuisinart blows away the competition for ease of cleaning and quick cook times, among other things.

I wasn’t aware how hot the entire exterior of the oven gets. My countertops are made of a Corian type composite, and since the oven gets so hot I’m reluctant to use it. It also heats the bottom of my kitchen cabinets, which it warns about in the instructions. I wish I had known that before I bought it. I just don’t have a place safe to use it.
