I never write reviews, but was compelled to do so for this air fryer. I had another air fryer that was bulky and lived in my basement. It was a pain to drag it up to use it and the basket was small and it overheated easily. I love that this one replaces my toaster oven and sits right on my counter. I've only used it about 5 times but I love it. It crisped up my buffalo tofu and cauliflower, it makes great french fries, and it made 5 slices of perfectly crisp bacon in 8 minutes, no mess. (I lined the pan with foil.) It does run a little hot, so just turn the temperature down - duh! Really love this product.

I was so excited to receive my Cuisinart Air Fryer Toaster Ove and with good reason! This little dynamo does it all and as advertised. If you clean as you use it's a breeze to keep it looking new and operating efficiently too. My lemon pepper breaded chicken thighs were amazing, as were the steaks and all the food I cook in this oven. Thank you Cuisinart for this convenient, small, beautiful and quality small appliance; small but mighty!

We have had this Cuisinart Air Fyrer Toaster Oven for a month now and use it almost daily. We had a different air fryer for the year before we bought this one and I would give the old one three stars vs. five stars for the Cuisinart. This machine cooks food so much faster than our old one and makes chicken and any other meat crispy if we want it that way and it is always juicy. I can’t say enough great things about it! I don’t think we have even turned on our regular oven since we bought this, other than to make large amounts of Christmas cookies. I would highly recommend the Cuisinart Air Fryer Toaster Oven!

Need to watch your food during the cooking process

When I read other reviews about food burning, I thought that people weren't paying attention. Well, food does burn very quickly and the instruction book/recipe book is no help. It tells you to do one thing, and when you follow that, the food will burn every time. The unit makes good toast, and the airfryer works well. When I try to bake anything in it, I must watch the food very closely. Things burn on the outside quickly, but will be raw in the middle. Sadly, I've decided to go back to using my full-size oven for many things.

I just want to love this but I am terrified of it. It was a gift for Christmas and now I just want my son to get his money back. It overheats terribly and when I want to air fryer I have to set the temp. Anywhere from 40 to 60 degrees below your recommended. The timer is so off I can’t use it. I tried to bake and the convection comes on so everything is cooked on the outside raw in the middle. I don’t know what to do with it. Yes I have a manual and am unable to follow it as the machine doesn’t work properly.

-Convection oven burns before cooking thoroughly.
-Air fryer produces dried-out, burned food even when cooked for less than recommended time.
-Distance between top shelf and heating elements is almost useless for anything but toasting.
-I wish that I had simply replaced my Oster toaster oven.

Trays become cruddy after a few days even if you wash after each use. Air-Fry doesn’t “fry” the crispy coating expected. Cute counter topper, but expected more for NAME Cuisinart.
