I did a lot of research before I purchased an air-fryer, I was debating between the Cuisinart and another well known brand. While looking at both store display units, the Cuisinart had a much better visual appeal - then a woman next to me told me that she purchased the "other brand" and in less than 2 months - the door fell off! I purchased the Cuisinart AirFryer Toaster Oven and am extremely pleased with the quality and performance.

The "machine" worked as described in all of the reviews and it has been enjoyed (and appreciated) by my entire family. This is not a surprise. 40+ years ago, I did a lot of research on food processors and chose the more expensive option of a Cuisinart! It works as well today as it did at the time of purchase and it was/is worth every penny spent!

I read other reviews and haven’t had issues with burned food. I adjust my times and temps. The only thing is the toaster can make the bread crusts too hard.

I'm disappointed that the Cuisinart air fryer has old-fashioned mechanical controls. The timers and temperature control are less than precise. Also, almost everything we've tried seems to over-cook. We bought a brand we thought we could trust, but now we're not so sure.

I was happy with the Cuisinart AirFryer Toaster Oven until I noticed that the plug heated up during use. I was amazed to see that the plug was a regular 2-prong plug rather than the 3-prong plug on all my other small appliances. I tried plugging the toaster oven into a power strip, but it still heated up to the point where I was afraid it was a fire hazard. I ended up returning the toaster.
