Cuisinart is the first/only air fryer we've owned, so no basis for comparison. Operation is straight-forward, simple and it does an excellent job. We've been very pleased w/the results and use it nearly every day.

The only complaint I have is the inside rack will stain very easy!! If I don’t take it out IMMEDIATELY after cooking and put it in hottt soapy water, you can hardly get the residue off of the trays.. and I have only used my oven 4 times and already experienced heavy staining with only toasting bread with a small amount of butter on the bread on top side..

I am debating about sending this unit back. Sometimes I have to turn the temperature down from 50 to 100 degrees so it doesn’t burn my food, such as shrimp and tater tot’s in the fryer. It had burnt tips on the shrimp. The tator tots took way less time when I set the temp and time as suggested. It makes it harder to make some food than in the stove oven. I am quite disappointed in this appliance. I bought a cookbook for cuisinart and their temps and times continued to burn my food. I am considering another brand.
