Pan in the toaster oven warps when it gets hot it gets stuck in the oven until it cools the first one was replaced with another one they both had the same issue ! They are worthless

Due to issues with my kitchen remodel project I have been without a kitchen for three months. Tiring of using my slow cooker and electric fry pan I decided to purchase the Cuisinart Air Fryer Toaster Oven after listening to my small local kitchen shop owner’s wealth of knowledge about this product. OMG!! It’s amazing. I’ve used all features and have loved everyone one. Makes incredible potato chips that are almost fat free , crispy, and super tasty! Baked an apple pie and broiled fresh salmon! Creates crisp toast better than any toaster. This is not a run of the mill toaster oven. So much more at a fantastic price point! Bake, broil, roast and almost fat free air frying! The best out there!

We have a Cuisnart toaster oven and have been happy with it. I liked the idea of having an air fryer without having to have a separate appliance. Happy to see it came in black stainless which would match our appliances. Disappointed it didn't have a setting for bagels like our other one had. The first food we made in the toaster oven burned. We purchased a thermometer to test the temperature after reading some of the other reviews. Instead of just setting the temperature for baking, you need to set the timer also.(I wish that wasn't required) The instructions say to add 5 minutes for it to reach the temperature. We set it at 350 for 20 minutes. After 5 minutes, the thermometer read 425. The remainder of the time it fluctuated between 335 and 375. Returned it to the store, using our old toaster oven and researching air fryers.

I purchased this thinking it would be great to have one appliance with so many great features; however, after nearly charring a couple meals I bought an oven thermometer only to find that setting this to 350 degrees means it will reach 500 degrees in 7 minutes and never drop to the necessary temperature. I exchanged it for another unit only to have the identical problem. Needless to say I returned that and will NEVER consider Cuisnart for ANY appliance in MY home no matter how many features they offer. and I am only giving this one star because I can't submit a review with zero stars!!

Following the recommended times and temps in the accompanying booklet has resulted in some incinerated food. This device gets much hotter and requites much more watching than I expected. Bacon recommendation of 400 degrees on airfry for 8 minutes set off the smoke alarm and produced something akin to charcoal. It also has a hot spot in the left rear where food gets more burnt than the front. I've also discovered that heating frozen french fries at the temp recommended on the package is way to hot as well. I've had to reduce temp and shorten times and watch this thing like you were cooking on a frying pan.
