I bought this appliance to replace a 12 year old Cuisinart toaster oven. The dial controls makes it difficult to know what the exact temperature and time are set. The tray is already loosing it's coating and staining even though I clean with non-scratch pad, mild dish detergent and hot water. The interior upper area housing the fan is impossible to clean. I have owned Cuisinart small appliances for years and never been disappointed but this air fryer toaster oven is making it hard to give it more than 3 stars. If you have any suggestions on cleaning the interior especially upper convection fan please email me.

Loving this new appliance, HOWEVER...this appliance is difficult to keep clean, and the tray, basket and rack are very difficult to keep clean. The tray is the most difficult and although I soak the tray as soon as it cools, but I still can't get it clean even though I use a nylon scrubber.

This product is great, but it needs a few adjustments. One, the light goes out when you open the door. Hello! Sometimes you open the door to check the status of what is cooking. The light should still be on! Two, air frying certain things creates grease splatter on the walls of the unit. As time goes by this becomes baked on and very hard to clean. Three, the drip tray is also very hard to clean, the coating even comes off with a little scrubbing. Four, the controls are a bit clunky, and the timer is questionable... The good news is that this product performs great! It provides several different uses and excels at all of them. I have read other reviews that complain about it getting too hot and burning food, but that is not the fault of the unit, rather the user should be paying more attention to the progress of the cooking. It does get hot, and cooks fast so, you really need to watch it. It replaces your toaster, toaster oven and air fryer which gives you more counter space. Makes food fast, reheats well and makes food crispy.
