Takes awhile to figure out the temperature settings. Burned lots of things the first two weeks. Also the wire rack has a lip making it tricky to get some things out.

This is my second Cuisinart Air Fryer Toaster Oven. It's replacement for a year old defective unit. The Bake function stopped working. That oven also ran hotter than the temperature knob indicated. We would burn items frequently trying get the temps right. This one seems more in line to the actual temperature. Other than that love the oven and all my Cuisinart products. We own quite a few! BTW. You customer service on the phone is excellent, the best. Took me about a five minute conversation to get a replacement unit sent. The women was efficient, friendly and helpful. Refreshing for the frustrating customer service you get at most companies these days.

Reading other reviews, I see many report this issue; one even stated the real temperature was 100 degrees above what was selected!
In addition, I wish the timer were digital. Turning a knob isn’t precise enough.

When I began using the functions that require the oven timer, it seemed longer than what is shown in the dial. Using my phone timer along with timer on unit - there is a definite different. When set for 10’ on unit is actually 15’. I now set the timer on unit for lesser time and also use my phone timer. I don’t feel I should have to do this for any product, let alone one with a good company reputation and hefty price tag.

I bought it because I wanted a toaster and oven all in one, and with this product I got that and much more. The fryer was the big seller for me, plus its a conventional and convectional oven all in one. The fryer feature is a big hit at my home, myself and my grown sons are constantly doing wings, and they turn out perfect every time. The only thing I don't like about the oven, is the cleaning. The coils on the top make it difficult to clean, but not a big deal. The drip pan on the bottom is weird that instead of the edges curved up to catch the grease actually curve downward. I thought I had the tray in wrong, but doesn't fit the other way. Still all in all its not that big of a deal, however those features corrected would be a nice upgrade.
