The item I received leaked smoke on the left side of the door. I am no sure if it is defective or suppose to be that way. But it is annoying and disappointing.

I was excited to get this air-fryer and to start using it to prepare more healthy foods faster.
My first use was to toast bagels and it did a great job on those. It was very consistent in the toasting.
I then tried some simple air-fryer recipes I found on the internet and was disappointed with the results. Everything I tried was overcooked.
Okay, so I thought I'd try a cheeseburger recipe from the Cuisinart booklet that came with it. Again, the food was overcooked and dry.
I've noticed that everything I have tried to cook smokes and is overcooked. I'll try one more time with a baked potato to see how it turns out before I box it up and think about a yard sale.

The temperatures are not traditional. Oven cooks too fast. I have overcooked and burnt several items.

Since I haven't used the air fryer yet, and since I've have burned everything I've BAKED, I feel I can't really give it a full review (therefore the 3 stars). Heating up pizza on convect bake is GREAT, toasting works well, I can't get the hang of regular baking - it burns the outside, leaving the middle uncooked - even when I lower the heat by 25, 50 or 75 degrees! This is crazy. I'm afraid to ruin anything else.
