This is the second air fryer we purchased, the first one was not a Cuisinart. We returned the other one, which was poorly designed and hard to use. The Cusiinart is far superior. We have really have used it a lot. It speeds up meal prep while helping us make healthy choices.

I like this appliance, but it does take a little adjusting to, especially with the temperature settings. It seems to run quite a bit hotter than the setting would indicate. This, of course, really affects cooking times. If you use the recommended times, things will be over-cooked. As an example, i used the oven settings for baking homemade cornbread. The recipe calls for a 400 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes. I checked my bread at the 17 minute mark and it was on the verge of being burnt. As long as that part is taken into consideration the appliance works very well.

An excellent countertop combo for toaster oven / air fryer. Extremely easy to operate. The appliance does get a bit warm on the outside so adhere to manufacturers recommendations about leaving space around the oven. I use it in the small outdoor (semi enclosed) food/ snack preparation area by our back porch and it has great multiple uses. I would say the only negative aspect is the lower level for the backing rack or pan is a bit difficult to slide the rack/pan into the oven without touching the open glass front.
