Like it but has a learning curve. The cooking times in the cook book don't work and I have burnt a lot of food. Once I get it figured out I think I will really like it.

After many weeks of researching different brands I decided to purchase this one. I really like it. I have tried all the features it has and I am glad I bought it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have considered an air fryer for some time now but did not want another appliance to clutter the kitchen. I researched this one and considered for some time before finally purchasing it. Generally speaking, I am fairly satisfied with it. There are a few issues that people considering it should be aware of. The interior is going to very possibly be smaller if you are replacing a counter oven you may have. A square or round cake pan will fit in but other pans I used to get in my old convection countertop oven will not fit. I am also very surprised and disappointed Cuisinart would have a rather cheap fry basket and pan. Be aware these are NOT dishwasher safe; in this day and age, you would expect much better quality on these. You will need to hand wash them. Setting the manual temperature seems to be off as well; for example, 350 degrees seems hotter. It would be nice if this had digital controls. As far as the air frying, I have been pleased with that. It seems to do a nice job on items I have done - mainly chicken wings and fries. It also toasts bread etc quite well on that setting. You definitely need this oven to be sitting away from the wall and any cupboards! When using the air fry or convection bake, there is a lot of hot air blowing out the back of the unit! The sides and top also will be quite warm to the touch. I could only give it 3 stars as I really expect better from Cuisinart brand.

I'm still experimenting! I'm not sure about the temperature setting on the regular oven setting. I tried 425 as the temp I'd used for a certain item in my old toaster oven. In the old one it took 10 minutes, in the new one it was burned to crisp in 4 minutes. I lowered the temp to 350 after letting it cool down, burned again!! It's a learning curve. I do miss the bagel setting.
