I returned the oven after realizing most things I cook these days are packaged in microwaveable packages, and this oven can only use glass or oven-proof dishes. I was very sad, because the Cuisinart brand speaks for itself and I was very excited to try it out, but realized at this senior-stage of life, I was a little late. It is also fairly tall and takes up counter space, of which I have limited, so I very sadly returned it. It just wasn’t practical for me to keep for the only purpose of air-fried French fries and toast!

Great concept but not as useful as I had hoped

I bought this with hopes of having a good air fryer, replacing my toaster and having an alternative to the big oven for baking. Toaster feature works great and toasts very evenly, but takes so much longer than a regular toaster. Air fryer and oven both run hot so I have to be very mindful and not rely on the suggested cooking time or what I cook burns. I burned kale chips and wontons using the suggested temp and timing so I am having to use a lower temp and watch closely so food doesn't burn. Baking is the same. I bake hash browns in the regular oven for 14 minutes, but at the same temp setting in the Cuisinart they start to burn after 12. It's a great idea but hasn't been all that I had hoped for.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We love our Cuisinart! It works great and makes cooking so much faster. With easy clean up it makes it even faster. After some trail and error on learning to cook certain foods we now cook most everything in our Cuisinart.

I am loving my air fryer so far. I have made fresh French fries, bbq chicken, chicken strips, Spring rolls and that is just the start. It cooks up quick and browns beautifully. Oh, did I mention I use very little oil, if any.
