We love the air fryer with this oven, it cooks so fast. Chicken thighs and steaks come out so delicious. The only negative would be it says not to put the tray or basket in the dishwasher, I really don't know why because they are made of metal. Even so it is still terrific.

The machine performs well but the air fryer timing and temperature is off kilter, it burns food quickly with the recommended times according to the charts that came with the machine so you have to pay attention to what you’re cooking and adjust the time and temperature.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My wife and I purchased the Cuisinart Air Fryer to replace an old toaster oven. We wanted a multipurpose device to avoid having another appliance on the counter.
This appliance looks great in gleaming stainless steel. Its real easy to use and we like that it has an oven light you can turn on and off. The unit is very easy to setup and you will be cooking in less that 10 minutes after unpacking. There is no startup smell or breaking in, although we did toast some bread just to get acquainted with the functions.
Cooking with the unit is fun and the multi-function permits you to select the best way to cook your food. You can start off baking and finish with air frying. It does take a little trial and error to figure out the best way to cook, but once you figure out the right combination of function and time everything we have made has turned out great.
A few minor points that cause a 4 rating. The drip pan used for backing and air frying discolored right after the first use. It was difficult to get the grease off, so now we cover it with tin foil or a silicon baking sheet. The air fryer basket is a little hard to clean and requires a good brush to get some of the food off, even though the food is coated in oil. Cuisinart warns not to place the parts in the dishwasher, so cleaning by hand is the only choice. Wiping down the glass door after each use is a good idea in order to avoid grease build up. Lastly, cleaning the inside of the unit is a little difficult as the heating elements make it difficult to clean the top of the unit. It would be nice to have a way to remove the element so the inside of the unit can be cleaned. Alternatively, it would be nice to have a self-cleaning function like an regular oven.
Overall I highly recommend the unit. It looks great, cooks great and it's a Cuisinart so you know it will work for a long time.

I bought this about a month ago, I absolutely love it. It replaces my cuisinart toaster oven and my air fryer. Frees up counter space and performs so well. It so much easier to clean and I love the pull tray in the frount as opposed to the rear pull out in my old one,( which still works great by the way). Very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend it. The made the purchase because Cuisinart is a name I trust.

I bought this because it is a combo item. I needed a new toaster oven and I wanted an air fryer. I love it! The air fryer works great as well as the oven. Easy clean up. I will definitely be using this during the summer as a small oven rather than turning on my regular oven. I am glad to have purchase this and price is definitely worth the investment.
