I wanted an air fryer but after reading reviews that the plastic basket “warps” due to heat, I began to wonder. Plus I have limited counter space. I saw this Cuisinart product in a TV ad, so I researched it, read the reviews and made a decision! I bought this to replace my microwave and am very happy I did. It’s compact and with 1800 watts, it bakes, air fries and warms in no time. I do find you have to lower the temperature when baking or air frying. I’m still learning how to adjust on some food items but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I’m using it more and my (big) oven less.

This was a Christmas gift. This air fried cooks excellent. The only draw back is when frying chicken, the inside needs to be clean and this takes some time.

Air fryer great - toaster feature not so much

The air fryer function is fantastic. And it heats fast! The toaster feature also heats fast (really have to watch it) but it doesn’t toast evenly. Also the top rack is so high you can’t even see what’s on it to determine if done or not - have to open the door. Not a big deal but should be adjusted for next version!

I just bought a few weeks ago but what I have cooked is great!! Chicken wings and fries are crispy just like fried! I suggest to play around with temperatures because browns fast. I usually go 10 or so degrees under then what it calls for. I am figuring it out as I go but enjoying the everything in the process!
