After much research I needed to replace my toaster oven and was interested in an air fryer but not willing to give up counter space.
This product was the answer to my dream. I use this daily. It adds class to my kitchen by design. So far I have not needed to use my large oven for anything. Great product and I am a loyal Cuisinart customer.

I purchased this item once and had to return it as the oven temperature was far too high, set @ 350 degrees and it was burning the food. I used an oven thermometer to check the temperature and found that it was heating up to 500+ degrees. I returned it and re-purchased it, but I seem to continue to have the same problem so I've used my oven thermometer to get the oven to the correct temperature then added the food. I am a bit disappointed about this, but the other functions work very well. I am sorry to say that I'm still not sure that I am going to keep this product, since I think it should operate flawlessly for the price paid. And, it's odd that this seems to be a continuing problem, at least for me. I've been cooking for well over 50 years, so it's not that I'm an armature. I know the difference between, bake/convection bake, toast, broil and air fry.
If anyone has any solution to this dilemma, please post your answer....I did inquire if there was any way to calibrate the oven temperature and was told to return the item.

I had wanted a single appliance that could replace several in the kitchen: toaster oven, convection oven, air-fryer. This always seemed perfectly suited to that but I was concerned about some of the issues reported in reviews here.
So far I an VERY happy with the purchase. I have had no problems with the timer, or shutting it off, or any other mechanical/electronic issues described in some reviews. It is a very solid, functional appliance.
One thing that definitely IS true, however, is that if you follow the time and temperature directions in the instruction booklet YOUR FOOD WILL BURN. But I don't think this is necessarily a problem with the oven overheating, I suspect the cooking times in the directions are just wrong. I have found that reducing the cook time by one-third does the trick and everything comes out fine.
This is my first air-fryer and the results have been great.
One other caution... the oven can draw a lot of power (1800 watts) so you may need to avoid operating it at the same time as, for example, a high-wattage microwave, if your kitchen outlets are all on one circuit.

We purchased this within the last month and I have used it for so many things. It is so versatile. We have toasted, baked, used the air fryer setting and more. we have made the best oven fries I have ever eaten, fantastic appetizers, parmesan garlic toast and am looking for more recipes daily. Such an easy cleanup too. No issues like so many of the stand alone air fryers.

Have had the Cuisinart several weeks now, and have toasted, baked, and air fried. It cooks faster than my previous toaster oven and is much simpler to use than my previous air fryer. Plus, only one appliance! Looks good as well. Good job Cuisinart!

Cooks quickly, evenly, and is suprising roomy....don't have to heat up my kitchen with the oven range, a big plus in the south. Needs counter space though as the outer surface can get quite hot.
