So I'm not sure this was the best purchase. It seems to cook way too fast, and food comes out well done (burnt) on the outside but not cooked on the inside. With the air fryer, some items are overdone and some not quite done. Maybe I just haven't got the hang of using it yet, but so far I am not amazed.

I expected better from Cuisinart, the convection oven, toaster oven, all work well, but the air fryer has some thermostat issue or something, it can be much too hot for some relatively straightforward air frying. It is trial and error finding the best combinations and timings. There also seems to be a problem where the unit will stop heating mid-cycle like it overheats and shuts off.

This AirFryer is the best invention since the Instant Pot! Everything comes out juicy and crisp. I wish I got this when it first came out. Go for the bigger size because it’s worth it.

This adds to my current number of seven Cuisinart, total. of appliances, cookware, and knife set. I bought the air fryer for myself and had high hopes. This one is not aging well for cleanliness.

The air fryer basket does not get clean. After the first air fry, using spray oil as instructed, the basket was brown. Per instructions for cleaning, I place it in hot soapy water. I scrub with a brush, and nothing comes off. You can feel the build up of oil(?) and I can't get it back to new.
The baking pan is a horrible metal that is already all discolored. A gray coating is coming off it.
The timer is too vague when so many recipes call for specific times. 3 min, 5 min, and there is only increments of 10 on the dial. I have to set an additional timer for accuracy.
I am true to the brand, but this one is a disappointment.

Still getting used to this appliance. Coming from a Black and Decker toaster oven which was pretty accurate in terms of temperature and cook time. This cooks hot and fast, even in standard bake. Need to decrease temp and cook time and need to watch to make sure things aren't burning. Air Fryer is nice, as is convection baking, but again, need to adjust time and temp and watch.
