The unit did not work so returned it.
The plastic bowl was flimsy and extremely difficult to lock in place. I was concerned the pieces would break while trying to do so.

Bought this food processor to replace the older cuisinart that I have had for years (dropped the bowl on my tile floor and broke it). I really like that the newer model has reversible blades that change the size of the shred and slicing options! Takes up no more space than the old model but gave me more features. Base is lighter weight than older model so it makes it easier to get in and out of the cupboard. Would buy this again and I am always pleased with cuisinart appliances.

I love this! I had never had a food processor because,. decades ago, a friend showed me hers, and it looked like it was incredibly complicated to take apart and clean and put back together. I finally decided to try this medium-size 8-cup food processor, and I cannot BELIEVE how easy it is to rinse and clean after each use! (Many people have complained about the bread-making function not working well, but I don't bake bread so that does not affect me.)

Our 24+ years Cuisinart-Mini is breaking apart (bowl safety plunger broken), still going, but the load work now requires a bigger sibling. Hence, we purchased the next kin in size and so far is a work in progress as we continue to try the convenience of its capacity. While bigger, it seems too light for its size and material quality may not be as tough as its little bro. We also miss the nifty accessories that were part of the mini flexibility to do other tasks. Time will say if up to the challenges, but we trust the brand name on it will provide years of reliable use and results.
