I have used the Elemental 8 Cup Food Processor for several months now, it is a time saver for chopping, slicing and shredding in meal preparation. It is very easy to clean by hand and in the dishwasher. I have only one concern, the shredding/slicing disks need a bit more support; as they tend to flex and allow items to come between the disk edge and the side of the 'bowl' and sometimes not shred or slice at all. This is just a minor nuisance but still worth having in the kitchen.

I had a relatively new food processor that was driving me crazy. Every time I used it the lid was difficult to get off and the bowl even harder to release from the body. I finally gave up and bought the Cuisinart and am now kicking myself for not having done so sooner. It works like a charm, is easy to use and easy to clean up. I have other Cuisinart kitchen appliances that I have always been happy with so I should have known this would pass the test as well. My grandmother used to tell me you get what you pay for and that is so true.

I bought this unit about 2 months ago and I love it. It's easy to use. It's easy to clean. But I gave it a fair rating because the S Blade is already knicked and I had to order another one. I have not used the other 2 blades. I use this every single day. So I am very disappointed that S Blade needs replacing after 2 months of use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this food processor one month ago and we are very, very happy that we did! I have been using it almost every day! I have made soups, salads, hummus, gaucamole, grated cheese and chopped walnuts. I have pureed, sliced, chopped and mixed. This food processor has also been very useful for the preparation of the ingredients for a yummy carrot cake with cream cheese icing! Today I chopped a variety of vegetables to make a salad. I enjoy using this 8 Cup Food Processor to slice cucumbers, peppers, carrots and green onions, and it is great to have a ready supply of prepared vegetables in the refrigerator for the next meal. It saves so much time in the preparation of the vegetables that we are eating healthier foods on a daily basis. It is very easy to use and I appreciate that it is so easy to clean.

I owned my old Cuisinart for so long they no longer made the replacement parts. So when it came to get a new processor I knew I needed to replace it with another Cuisinart. I had specific requirements in mind. I love this Cuisinart because of its weight. It is so easy to take it in and out of the shelf for use! I am a little concerned with the shaft that holds the blade. I feel that it is not very stable and it will break sooner rather than later. I hope my suspicions are proven wrong.

I purchased this product about a month ago, after moving to another state. I own the 12 cup model and loved it, but didn’t realize until I purchased this unit how many features I had not been using. I was so accustomed to using a mandolin, that I never thought to use the slicing disc’s included with this product. However, I am using the slicing disc’s more and more To slice & shred all types of vegetable. The result is perfect size vegetables and a great timesaver. I can’t believe it took me all this time to utilize those desks. I absolutely love this machine.

I used a professional Cuisinart in restaurants where I've worked. Now retired, I was using a blender to emulsify veggies. It didn't work very well. The spinach and basil had to be stirred many times in order for them to emulsify. Used the same recipe the day the food processor arrived, and voila! Emulsification with the touch of a button! No stirring! I love it and wish I had gotten it sooner!
