it's a great processor. powerful. reasons i didn't rate it a five star: 1. it doesn't grind flax seeds. must use my vitamix for this. 2. it's made in china. 3. was looking for a slicing or shredding blade that cuts food into thicker or larger pieces.

This food processor is so easy and fun to use. I shredded potatoes for hash browns that literally took me 2 minutes! I made oats into oat flour with a press of a button for baking for Christmas. Now I'm looking for more things I can do with this. Literally saves you time!

I used it seldomly. Called Cuisnart and they gave me a solution to reset it. Tried that and it still didn’t work. Wrote them back and they sent the same solution. I wont buy a Cuisinart again.
