I purchased a larger Cuisinart Processor first but the locking mechanism was far too difficult to use. This one has much simpler locking system that I am able to use. It works well and is very easy to clean without nooks and crannies for food to get wedged into.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this food processor. I wish it had a gasket around the top of the lid. Otherwise it is perfect for a small family. I just passed on my Cuisinart food processor I purchased in 1973 to my granddaughter.

I’m a little disappointed on the design of the bowl. The bowl part where the blade sits has a hole in it that the spinning piece comes up through. That leaves a gap. When making anything with flour, it gets all in there. I also find that the flour flies out the edge of the bowl during mixing. I think Cuisinart needs to look at the Black & Decker bowl/blade assembly. This one has much more power, but it sure makes a mess on my counter.

It seems like the materials (except the blades) used to make the machine are not as durable and stable as my over 20 year old original Cuisinart. My old machine was a “work horse” and we’ll worth the price...I highly doubt this machine will wear that long-I have a feeling some of the plastic parts will crack if I drop them accidentally and from use. Time will tell...

I have had a couple of Cuisinart food processors over the years, and loved them. They were used a lot! I was in need of replacing the latest one and did a lot of research on this model. I was hesitant because it seemed quite different from my latest (12-15 yr old model that died). This machine has been awesome for me. I really like how the blades, sit on a stationary post, rather than having to attach a separate post to the older blades. I am very happy with this purchase. It sits out on my counter and is used several times a week for almost all the ways it is meant to be used. I have not, and most likely will not, use it for yeast type bread doughs, so I can’t review that use, but I have made a pizza dough with it. This purchase was a good choice for my needs!

I was disappointed in my new processor. I had had a Cuisinart processor for 26 years. The chute on the new model is too small and the motor not as powerful. Grating is not as smooth or as efficient as the old model. The chopping blade is also not as powerful and does not chop or blend well. Newer is not better.

When I process pie dough the flour puffs out at the top joining them base level. The design is faulty. A gasket should have been incorporated here. What a mess.
