I gave up my large food processor when I moved to a condo. I missed having one, so decided to order the Cuisinart 8-cup size. I'm really glad I did because not only does it fit on my smaller kitchen counter and is more lightweight it also does a great job chopping vegetables and fruits. It's been very helpful in processing produce for canning relishes and jams!

I've used it twice. First time OK. Second time with everything on TIGHT, when pulsing my pie crust, flour kept flying out of the gap between two upper pieces. It doesn't seal well enough. What a mess!

The large bowl has to be in place in order to use the small bowl. You can’t use the large bowl and set it aside and use the small bowl for something else. Other than that it’s great!

Very light weight and capable processor. The bowl and lid seem particularly rigid and could break at any time. That is what happened to two other food processor bowls and lids that I owned.
