Not good for shredding carrots.

I had the FP8SU model. I bought it to mainly shred carrots but unfortunately the carrots get stuck under the blades so it’s now just an ornament, ok for other things but def not for shredding carrots. A good point is that is light to pick up.

The base is very light weight so when making even pastry the processor moves on the work top. So you have to hold it down.

Super fine slicing

Got the easy prep pro a few weeks ago and it's already proven it's worth. It's been a while since we've had a food processor but it made finely slicing of veg for our kebab dish an absolute breeze. No way I would have got slices that fine with just a knife. I was also able to chop up around 400g of meat easily in the bowl. Can see us using this all the time.
