Very happy with Cuisinart food processor. Does just what I bought it for. Excellent coleslaw, hummus, all sorts of recipes. Bought to replace an almost 40-year-old 4 cup sears model. Love the additional capacity and fresh sharp plates!

I inherited my mother's Cuisinart several years ago (I believe it was originally purchased in the 70s) and although it was in great working condition, I rarely used it because it was bulky and very heavy. I finally decided to purchase this one because it was on sale and I figured I had nothing to lose. I didn't think it would be as good because it is much lighter and much cheaper than the original, and I thought that meant it was of lesser quality. I was very wrong. I love this food processor and I use it all the time. It's easy to clean and because it's so much lighter, I have no problem storing it after each use.

My sis and niece got me this for Christmas, and what an improvement!! I use the main part for pureeing chicken and clams for my cats food. Also used the slicer/shredder for veggies etc.and it worked great. So nice to have a sturdy, functional piece in the kitchen.

It's a great machine. Much quieter than most other brands. I just wish the chute you put the ingredients thru was a bit larger. But other than that it's a solid machine and works very well.

Love the product, love the product line. However this item for some reason the lid doesn't seal! Making anything that's more than moist and you'll get an explosion of liquid everywhere! Can't express how disappointed my wife was.
