I got this as a Christmas Gift. After wearing out many food processors over my years of cooking, this one is by far the quietest. Blades are VERY sharp and it slices, shreds and chops beautifully. I also chops small amounts well, even though the hopper is large.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It works fine for small light things. I was disappointed when I tried to shred potatoes for hashbrowns or shred carrots or shredding cooked meat Using the blade disk it did not work. Was disappointed with that for the money I paid.

I have had moments when I forget to put in the chopper.. And I have thought I broke it a couple of times when it wouldn't start. That was stressful for me but I forged on and realized all parts must be in place for it to work! I felt rather foolish. So much to my chagrin I thought maybe I would see if it was in the instructions and stated all compartments must be locked in place to start machine. I think that you might want to notice that on the instructions in big letters. Anyway I do use the processor and really do like it. Price wise it was affordable too.

Love this item. Very useful, but I had to watch a bunch of you tube videos to get it to work.... I thought it was broken at first & it wasn't working.... Just be very careful when assembling the blade and the cup onto the base.
