We’ve used it 3 times: once for peppers and onion for gumbo, one for graham crackers for a pie crust, and once for crumb pie topping. The peppers were either paste or the one inch chunks we put in. The graham crackers just wouldn’t move around so we had sand on the bottom and whole crackers on the top. The crumb topping would not break up the one inch butter cubes. We dumped them into a bowl and used a hand pastry blender. I’d think a basic standard for a food processor would be to cut butter. Also, the bowl locks in right over the controls so you have to stand to the side to see them. We’re returning it today.

Power house in the kitchen. The reason for four stars and not five is I wish the cylinder that the blade is attached to should be closed at the top. Liquid and gunk are starting to get into the parts that cannot be cleaned.

Wife asked for a bunch of crap for wedding gifts, I asked for a sword and a cuisinart. I got both, but the cuisinart is more useful. Hard to make sauces to perfection with a sword.

While grating a lot of carrots, I had an issue with the grated carrots filling up on one side of the container. I had to remove the cover and blades to evenly distribute them in the bowl.

Been over twenty five year since I needed to purchase a new food processor. Family size and needs are much lower now and this unit seems to be just the right size. Have only made some pesto with The Elemental 8 cup but performed as expected. Looking forward to more opportunities in the near future.
