Don't like it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was purchased to replace my old controller. Frustrating that it was made for only 2012 TVs. I would replace it with something different if I could.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I expected more from this device. The main purpose I bought it was for quickness when typing in searches, however I found when I try to use this device to search a show to schedule to record the device does not work in that screen.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was to replace our original magic remote that lasted five years of children dropping and throwing. It held up well but needed to retire. So far this new remote works great.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it last month. I was waiting for it be delivered. It was easy to pair with my television and works great.
Pros: Features/Settings, Performance, Quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worst TV remote design ever

The "magic" pointer is a terrible idea. Excruciatingly slow to respond (ten seconds for the "home" button!!), imprecise, and ergonomically horrible. I thought I'd get used to it. Wrong! This would make me buy a different TV brand next time. And one fall to the floor from an end table broke the tiny molded latch in the battery cover, so now it will forever (?) live with a piece of tape holding it closed. A gimmick that sours the LG experience. LG should offer a keypad remote exchange at no charge. Thankfully, I can control most of my TV use with my cable box remote.

Worst Remote Control Design EVER!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this TV (LG 55LM6200) for years LOVE the TV, HATE the remote! When I have to use this TV remote to be able to use the internet or any of the smart TV options I HATE IT! The cursor is all over the place never calibrates to make it easy to get the cursor where you need it! What was LG thinking. Set it on the table and it falls over, bumping buttons etc... Should have come with a qwerty remote instead of this piece of junk, especially for the cost of the TV they could have included a more functional and sturdy remote.

Well the functions are fair but...

Here is my biggest complaint it's design is smooth in you hand but as mentioned befor the accuracy of the pointer is fair but when I connect a keyboard and mouse to the set it has much better control over the pointer than the remote does. And it's stability for staying on the arm of a chair or tv tray just out right stinks. The least little bump send the remot rolling off of what ever it was set on and falls to the floor and I have to go hunting for it. If it were not for the need to have it turn off and on I get better functionality out of my older iPhone app and my iPad harmony app to run this set. Every Time I turn around I am huntin for this remote.
