[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The adjustable power usage is handy, however the processor is remarkably slower than my teen year old Mac. The finger print ID sensor fails more often than it works. But overall, it has done the work needed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my order was processed quickly and my laptop arrived before the expected due date, so far i have been quite impressed with the t490s. battery is ok unless under heavy computing power... ive had it range from around 4.5 hours to 10 hours. the over all performance of the machine is satisfactory, they keyboard is very impressive. screen brightness is much better than i had expected with only 300 nits and the mat finish sound quality is also decent for the tiny speakers, with the tech out there now though they are not as great as one would hope. the general feel of the t490s is solid with good build quality. i gave it 4 out of five due to its limited ability to be upgraded... mostly ram and for the times the battery dies in 4 hours...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lightweight and comfortable to use with large enough mouse area. Battery charge holds well for more than a day's use. Good value for the money. The keyboard layout would be a bit more functional with additional 11 keys - for numerical entries on the bottom right.
