A well made product and

A well made product and overall great functionality so far this summer. I am waiting to assess this product during our winters. The associated Lorex Home android app (4.1.1) has some anomalies but I am working around some of these issues. Tech support has been exceptional on this product. My biggest disappointment is the inability of this camera to work in the 5GHz WiFi spectrum as noted in the spec sheets.

Just bought these and installed

Just bought these and installed them - since we already had existing cameras that we swapped out the install was pretty easy. Much better camera quality than our previous cameras and we like the fact that it's local storage and you can customize the zones you want to monitor - both of these key features are built into the cameras unlike most other major brands that make you pay a subscription to get these features which increases your total ownership cost - keep up the good work Lorex!

I bought this camera pack

I bought this camera pack right after Black Friday and have been very impressed with them so far! The set up was really easy, although it took a bit to figure out to share the device to my spouse's cell phone. Both of our cameras are mounted inside behind window glass and a screen, but it still picks up all movement in its field of view. Each camera came with very easy instructions on how to get it up and running and made the process very easy. The app itself works pretty well, the only issue that I have run into sometimes is that when I go to view a recorded portion after motion was detected, it will come up with an error message that there was no data recorded. I think this is just because the recording hasn't fully been uploaded to view it to the Lorex app. I haven't owned the camera's for too long and neither of them are outside, so I can't speak to their outdoor reliability, but I have confidence that they'll hold up well. In the future, I would definitely look into purchasing more of the same WiFi cameras!

Worked intitially

This camera worked well initially and the app on iOS worked pretty well. Just recently without any changes that I am aware of, the app shows the camera as offline. The light stays green but the app wont show live image or record properly. I have reset the camera multiple times but it keeps going offline. Couldn't find a solution online or in the Lorex Knowledge base. Forgive me but the tech support ninjas were less than useful. Missing a couple of stars for those reasons and the fact that the issue seems common without solution. Who knows might be my fault but all my other devices reconnect fine. I just gave up I guess?
