Have had more power outages the last few years and have a own small gas generator for powering household items. Decided that getting a 500X would be good for clean power for my digital stuff (laptops, iPad, phones, etc...). Love it so far, provides plenty of power for my family's gadgets and I purchased the Boulder 100 panel in case we have extended outages. Very good build quality and am very happy with it.

Out in co high country elk hunting 12x14 tent, two lights, able to read books, kept 3 phones speakers charged easily. Solar panels kept 500 charged, never went below 70%. Very happy so were kids.

The things I like most are the reliability, portability, and ease of use. Works great at events, in my camper, car, and at home during power outages.

Love this unit. It’s straight forward and not complicated. Light weight. Perfect size. While living in an area with random electrical shut offs, this helps keep the family cell phones and laptops charged. Perfect for long camp trips as well.
