Hello, Ang401. I am sorry to hear the air conditioner is not living up to expectations, and this is definitely not what we want for you. This air conditioner is rated to cool a room up to 550 sq. ft. If this area has high traffic, a lot of windows, or items that produce heat (computers, appliances, etc.) then the air conditioner may struggle. A few quick tips to ensure optimal performance is to adjust the louvers to help air circulation as well as altering the settings and fan speed. Quiet and powerful

Good air conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this air conditioner to replace the 14 year old Frigidair that finaly stoped. This air conditioner has a great smart phone app that lets you control and check it from anywhere and is noticably quieter than my old one. It also cools the entire 14 by 24 room in a short time, we love it and are looking forward to many years of good use from it.
