Excellent air conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This AC actually cools off 2 1/2 rooms in my house which is more than I thought I mostly needed it for my living room/dining room and it cools all the way to my kitchen! Very pleased with the product! Doesn’t make a large amount of noise.

A drain plug on bottom of unit would be useful, to drain any debris inside and remove standing water..

A GREAT UNIT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago. It has the feature I wanted, and a cost which was reasonably. They have come a long way in the features and performance. I love it. Oh, my unit is installed on a boat, works great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Unit not cooling

Unit was installed and was not cooling. Submitted paperwork for replacement and waiting for delivery.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ice Cold but a little on the loud side

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the price, this is an excellent air conditioner. It is ice cold on the coldest setting. It is a little on the loud side but doesn't bother me that much. If it was a little quieter I probably would have rated it higher.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well, 15 years later - I didn't because it wasn't broken - just "tired" and dirty inside!! So the only Brand I would buy was, of course, another spanking new Frigidaire 12,000 BTU Window-Mounted A/C!! I treated myself to a way updated model with "everything": fresher air, great "modifications" and a higher *** Energy Rating, which is already saving me $$ this year!!! I'm in NYC and have apt. automatic steam heat... this Frigidaire has a "Dry" mode which acts as a "dehumidifier"! AWESOME! Highly recommend.:)
