A little loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit a month ago. It mostly works well. My main complaint is that it is a little loud. Also, there are less slats on the vents than my previous unit allowing for less control of the air flow.
The ability to preset the temperature is a nice reature to maintain a consistent level of coolness in the house.
Overall, I am pleased with it. I would rate it 4.75/5 if I could.

Fast Cooling, High Capacity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this unit about a month ago just before a heat wave hit. It does a good job cooling the first floor of our medium-sized home. Gets cold fast and kicks out a good volume of air. Very good performance for the money.
It's also not as heavy as I expected given the capacity. I needed a little help getting it into the window, but it's not unruly.
