Cools large room quickly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 12,000 BTUs work fine for cooling my 500 square foot living/dining room. My new air conditioner works a lot faster than my old one and has a temperature control as well. I am waiting to see if my electric bill is smaller.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recd one and it did not cool but was quickly replaced super fast. It cools fabulously. Love the energy saving feature that cuts it off and on as need to maintain temp.

I bought it September 12th, but because of Hurricane Maria I couldn't enjoy it long, since September 20th that it hit PR I have no power at home. I really miss it!!! I hope it works when I get the electricity back someday.
