Noisy

It rattles and rumbles. I bought it for my bedroom and it's unacceptable. Will buy an older quieter model replace it for next year. The fan struggles to start, then rumbles when it runs. The grill rattles - had to stuff insulation strips everywhere to stop it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With 100 degree days in the forecast, I purchased and installed the AC in a westerly facing window of the high rise we live in. Easy install and the unit works efficiently to cool the living-dining-kitchen area (about 550 sq.ft.). Not as noisy as I'd expected and the Econ-mode does a pretty good job of maintaining temp while not running all the time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cools Quickly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this about 6 weeks ago and have been extremely impressed with how quickly it cools our apartment! Installation was a little funny because of the type of windows we have and it is loud (but what AC unit isn't) but it cools so fast!
