Good, but a bit loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed an A/C for my new apartment, bought this one at a local retailer in NJ. It works fine, but it's much louder than I thought it would be. It's in my living room, and we have to turn it off sometimes to be able to hear the TV. Still, it keeps the room cool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this just in time for the hot humid weather. It is very efficient and cools the house great. We have this one in the kitchen and another frigidaire a/c in the bedroom and they cool the entire house. Love the remote.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this last month to replace my central air that quit working. It is a little workhorse!!!! It is not quiet by any means, but is not overbearing with noise either. I will gladly put up with a little noise to keep me, my wife, and my dogs cool!! This is an AWESOME unit for me and my family. If you strategically place fans around, the whole house stays cool! If you are thinking about getting one, I personally would do it. Don't wait, go get one.
