Good air conditioner

We bought this air conditioner as it was the only 12,000 BTU that would fit in our window. We have been happy with it overall. It was easy to install and cools a large space (including a kitchen) pretty quickly.

Same unit sold under the Sears brand, which gives me confidence. Main reason for purchase is I want something that will fit in a window opening that is only 20 inches wide. Most window units are 23 inches, this is the only one, besides the type designed to fit in slider type windows, which again only Frigidaire seems to make, that would fit (19 inches wide).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works pretty well

I had to buy a larger air conditioner to service the living room and kitchen in my apartment and it does a pretty good job of that. It's a decent sized area and doesn't take too long to cool down.
