Like that it shuts off at set temp

I bought this so that I didn't have to cool the whole house all night, works out great. I don't understand the remote (never reads the temp) but I guess thats OK and I don't get why it must start every 10 minutes to recirculate warm air for no reason. BUT I do like it better than the others!

Excellent A/C Unit

This is an excellent A/C unit, does a great job of keeping the room cold and humidity free, most importantly. It also has some great features, such as a remote temp. sensor, air filter cleaning reminder, etc... I read reviews before buying the unit and read a lot of complaining about the unit being loud; I honestly can't tell if the unit is "running" or not. Therefore in my experience that complain is absolutely not true.

We have a big apartment and we were looking for an ac that could cool our large living room and foyer. It did just that. Our apartment was unbearably hot before getting this ac. We have no problems with it. The ac does the job well.

Great purchase

We bought this air conditioner as a replacement for an old and inefficient unit that came with our house when we bought it. Several things impressed us immediately. First, it was so much quieter than the old one. We could actually have a conversation in the same room in which the air conditioner was. And it didn't run all the time. At first, this concerned us but we learned that this was an energy saving feature. This A/C is cooling 3 large rooms and keeps them quite comfortable, even on hot (90 degree) days with high humidity (dew points of 70+) in Central NY. We love this machine!

Outstanding. The ac is strong enough to cool my entire living room dinning room and kitchen. Great escape from the hot and dry summer days in the city!
