The unit works well but is loud. Also, the default is economy not cool.

Varied feature provides one with opportunities to use the AC for varying tasks. Sleep mode for over nite cooling, timed performance, standard cool mode, and fan only allow one to have a choice on how to use it. Does an adequate job oj keeping four room cool.

Cools fast. Great buy and cools a large area. Cools kitchen & living room extremely well. Love the econo feature.

Gets the job done

I have to say, I can't get too enthused about an air conditioner. But this one is fine and I'm neutral toward it in every way possible. When it is too hot, I turn the air conditioner on. When it is too loud, I turn the fan speed down. When it gets too cold, I turn the air conditioner off. I use the energy saver feature most of the time, too, so I'm interacting even less with the actual product.

We use this air conditioner at an unattended location, a radio communications equipment room at a mountain-top site. The feature of this air conditioner that was most important to us was its size. The unit we replaced (a 10-year-old Frigidaire that got virtually no regular maintenance) was mounted through a wall and we needed a replacement unit that was exactly the same size. This one was just right and it works great. The room has an area of approximately 250 square feet and the unit keeps it cool with no problem.
