Had to buy this unit after our old one konked out. The new one was smaller and cranked out more BTUs. Instructions were elementary, and made the installation super easy (it was my first time installing a window AC unit). I am completely satisfied with my new Frigidaire AC, especially because of all the features and user-friendly program options; plus, this unit chills a room super fast!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great ac unit

I've had this unit now for over a month and works flawless. No issues what so ever and keeps our 400+sq ft room super cool on those hot summer days. Also a very quiet ac unit so i would definitley reccomend.

I bought this air conditioner back in June. This is just in time for the heat wave. I live in a small studio apt. It cools it off just right.

Good features, quality components

I bought this over a month ago. It has performed better than any other a/c I've owned. The Clean Air and Remote Sensor features are useful and the Clean Filter indicator is practical.

Bought two. Neither worked.

The first one that I bought had a mechanical problem that caused loud banging. The second one had a compressor that was faulty and never engaged. I sent both of them back, and I bought a different brand and it works beautifully. Don't waste your money on Frigidaire.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought two of these for my mother's house and she loves them. There are a variety of settings and the remote makes changing settings easy for her.

Quality air conditioner

I purchased two units to replace old units which stopped working. They seem to be quality units solidly manufactured. I like the features especially the remote thermostat I feel it is important to sense the temperature of the room not the temperature at the unit. The one feature that I feel is missing is a stand alone dehumidifying setting. The only problem I have currently is that I have not recieved my extended warranty that I applied for. I would recommend this unit.
