I bought. This to cool 24'x24' room with 12' ceilings. Cools wonderful. Best purchase. This year.

We have a big room w/cathedral ceiling and no insulation. This 12k replaced a10k that could not cool down the room once it was warm.
This one made a big difference. Air cleaner nice addition. Also like the remote that senses the temp where you put it

Great Air-Conditioner

After some poking around, we finally decided to purchase this unit. The best thing, of course, is that it blows super cool air into our living room, which was the point, of course. The unit feels solid and it makes us happy. I'm not sure how the thermostat works, but I'm always a bit curious that at times it can be beastly hot in our living room, but the air-conditioner won't turn on unless we turn it way down to 70 or so. Other times, it seems relatively cool, but the thing turns on, even though we have it set for 74 or 75. Seems odd, but we really aren't complaining. The unit works great.

Finally, cold air!

I bought my Frigidaire window air conditioner three or four weeks ago for my bedroom. It's so nice to have the room cold enough to sleep better in Florida's hot temperatures. We have to keep the house a/c at 78 which just wasn't cool enough for me. I love turning it on at night.

I bought this unit after reading reviews and they were right on. This unit is quiet and powerful. The rooms cool off quickly and remote is terrific.
