Disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased a month ago, its so loud you cannot hear your self think, let alone anyone talking to you. You will get cool, as long as you are standing or sitting exactlyl in front of the unit. i purchased the same BTU as last unit expecting it to cool like that one. Not the case, it will cool a 10x10 room as long as you close the door. otherwise good luck. not worth the money.

-The unit will struggle to maintain temperatures if new air is constantly entering the room. Close all openings (windows, doors, side curtains on the unit, and window framing the unit sits into) in the room where the unit is located.
-Ensure nothing is blocking or impeding air flow at the entire front or entire back of the unit. All louvers on sides must also not be covered or blocked. Impeding the air flow will cause the unit to struggle to maintain temperature.

Sleek Looking High Quality Air Conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to set up and get working. A bit loud, but seems standard for all ac units. Have not had issues. Does pull 10amps so needs appropriate circuit/line. Cools the space well.

Loud Buzzing Sounds

I've had all frigidaire A.C's in the past. Ordered this one and it does not blow cold air, cool yes, but not cold. The engine makes the most annoying loud buzzing sound like something is not working properly. Worst of all, the temperature does not go down to 60. They get a zero out ten from me, not purchasing from frigidaire again.

Cools good, but very loud!

I purchased this unit a month ago. Haven't had to use it too much, but when I do, even on low fan setting, it is much louder than other air conditioners that I have had.
I would not have purchased this unit if I knew beforehand how loud this unit was.

easy install

This unit replaced an older 12000 btu unit which was much bigger and required removing the guts to mount the case and then replacing the guts , what a joy not having to do that. Unit cools well and is quiet,
I would recommend this to a friend!
