Seems to clean clothes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a washer that was 15 years old and wanted a simple to use replacement. This has more selections than I prefer and my biggest disappointment is that I cannot seem to soak clothes prior to washing them in the same water.
I would recommend this to a friend!

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

Had this washer for a year and it has been trouble since day 1. Paid a bit higher price thinking I would get better quality. Went with this model because it has an agitator and thought my clothes would get a good washing; boy was I wrong! The clothes just sits there in the water and the agitator hardly moves so clothes is not being swished around. I've started only washing half loads or smaller because it just doesn't come out clean. Lightly soiled clothes come out of the washer with the same spots as when they went in. Also although I am using a small amount of HE detergent darker clothing comes out with suds spots all over even though I double rinse all my clothes. I put them in the laundry tub and scrub suds off and return to washer to spin. Such a total waste of our hard earned money and Whirlpool has been no help.

Love "Quick Wash" selection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the washer and dryer that I purchased last December, the dryer especially. I wish I had purchased the washer with the "glass" lid, as I don't like the fact that when the lock locks, you can't open the door again without some "rigmarole". Cycles are too long, so I was so happy when I saw the "Quick Wash" option. I hope they perform and last 30 years like my previous set. Different brand.

Clothes come out full of lint

This washer is terrible. I run every load with the deep wash setting in an attempt to get water in the basin, but when I open to check the load, there's mere inches of water inside. Occasionally, clothes come out with a dry spot inside a wrinkle, because there's never enough water for the clothes to float and agitate. I often re-wash clothes. I'm so angry about all the clothes coming out with lint fused onto fabric. Sometimes putting the clothes in the dryer helps to shake off some lint, but for my hang-dry clothes, they're just always looking like a disaster. I'm fastidious about sorting colors, too. I'm using HE detergent. For purchasing brand-new, I'm beyond angry with disappointment.

Beyond disappointed....

This washer and partnered dryer made it only 4 years... and both died (according to a repairman not worth repairing) within 3 weeks of each other. I am so disappointed. I am a single mom and bought these because of the name whirlpool and am now scrambling to pay for new appliances that will not be whirlpool or roper. It is pretty sad where you guys have ended up with your products.

Whirlpool Washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this top loading dryer after having used front loading washer for an extended period. This purchase eliminated the need for constant cleaning to eliminate foul odors inherent with a front loader. However, after installation I noticed the agitator did not seem to be functioning very well. After hand spinning the agitator it seems to be working somewhat better. I made this purchase thinking the high capacity ability would allow for bulk items, such as blankets and comforters, to be laundered. I am disappointed with strength of the drive motor of this particular machine.
