Simple Straightforward Wash Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There's no annoying learning curve to this machine. It works much like mom's clothes washer from 40 years ago. It is quiet. There is the usual water-saving features (that frankly don't help get clothes cleaner), but they can easily be bypassed with a turn of the dials. You can pause the cycle and add an item as needed unlike the front loaders. I like the agitator feature because it's better at moving the clothes from top to bottom and back during the wash cycle. The unit is priced near the budget end of the spectrum.

High INefficiency washer

Wish I heeded the warnings in the many poor reviews prior to buying it. I’ve had this washer for a year and it’s never filled with enough water for a small load even on the deep water setting, and it barely agitates - it’s so slow that it can really only rinse clean delicates. You can only use VERY small loads if you want to clothes to get saturated, and even then, many items come out with dry spots on them after a full wash. Forget washing anything that’s actually dirty as it can neither wet nor agitate items adequately. Also if you don’t take things out right after they wash, they will quickly start to go rancid - because it wets but doesn't clean them, and the bacteria in the clothes will multiply and start to stink even though they didn't before “washing” them. Hate to say, it’s the worst washing machine I’ve owned in 40 years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

SO FAR SO GOOD

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My washer started shaking so I thought it might be the balancing rods. Replaced those and still shakes. I won’t be buying another whirlpool anytime soon.

Meets my needs washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think I’m gonna be happy with this washing machine, I like the older models with agitator and The fact that I can open the lid and still add and look at how’s its washing, so I’m pretty happy with this washer, I just hoping that it would have more written directions on how to use the washing machine more efficient
