No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the washer. I wish that when I use the softener in the washer that it wouldn't get all over the clothes. I bought a Downey ball so this wouldn't happen. Other then the softener portion of the washer I like the washer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washing machine because my other Whirlpool gave out, after 16 years. I know what you're thinking, after 16yrs you are really lucky! That's why I had to buy another Whirlpool, it might not last me another 16yrs but I know it's a brand I could trust. I'm very happy with my new washer and I also got the dryer, why not. I kinda like doing laundry now with my new helpers.
