Takes much longer than old washer to finish a load

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer takes at least half an hour longer to wash an average sized load of laundry. We've tried various combinations of type of load of clothes, soil content of load, and water level and it still takes an inordinate amount of time to wash a basic load of laundry. Very disappointed. Makes a tremendous amount of noise filling the machine with water!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I haven't had the washer long, I'm more than pleased. I bought the more basic model as I have no use for all the fancy bells and whistles. My clothes come out clean and easy to separate. The brand I was replacing was a nightmare with knotted clothing, shaking terribly so my Whirlpool is a dream.

Large Capacity and Simple to Use

Agitator concerns

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think my new washer is getting spots out better than old one. I was concerned at first about agitator. It sounds like a sick animal rather than the swish-swish of my old one. I guess it’s all right because the clothes are clean.

Known defect

There is a part that disconnected after a few months, causing it not to properly agitate. The guy who came to fix it knew exactly what the problem was because it’s happening across the board. The replacement part is on back order so I’ve been waiting over a month just for the part so far.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
