poor cleaning power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been very disappointed in this new washer I purchased in April, I am an avid gardener and go through many pairs of garden gloves each week,. My old washer cleaned them up perfectly. Now I have to soak them in the sink, using hot water, detergent, and a touch of bleach. Then I wash them in the Whirlpool and they still are not dirt free.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Maytag Atlantis for over 20 years, so take this review with that in mind. The metal on today’s appliances is different and they lack the heft of their predecessors. That being said, I’m getting used to the new washer and for what is out there I’m reasonably happy with my choice so far.

Largest Capacity I have ever used

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The size of the tube is great for large loads and the fact that it does not get off balance like our previous Whirlpool AW did. Only thing I do not like is the inability to change water levels.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a basic washer that wasn’t an HE model even so this machine does have a HE agitator and cleans the clovers well.
One fault I have encountered is after 1 wk the cold water infeed has a continuous drip. Waiting for the part so it can be repaired

Lasted 9 weeks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced my old whirlpool with the exact same model. My brand loyalty was rewarded by the new machine lasting 9 weeks.
It stopped working, smelled electrical short.
Hit stood up by first warrantee repair service. Had excellent service by second one.
Waiting for new motor and sone part that makes the drum go back and forth.
I already bought a GE. Will fire sale the whirlpool once repaired, before it burns down my house.
I am done with the brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
