I love this grill!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new pellet grill so much that my wife hasn't had to cook meat for weeks. I am using this for everything from chicken, ribs, pork and beef. It gives such great flavor and the meat comes out juicy and delicious every time. I love that it has a large cooking area when I'm cooking for guests and family. The only issue I've had is some flare ups from grease and it has worried me a few times.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were looking for an upgrade from our propane grill. This one caught our eye with the perceived quality of materials, which were used to make the unit. It is heavy duty (weighs over 250lbs) but with the two caster wheels, this unit maneuvers very easily.
This took about an hour to put together. One recommendation is to use a ratchet set instead of a screw driver. The heads of the screws seemed to start to strip rather easily. Required two people in some parts to get this unit put together without a risk of ruining it. Also when putting in the bottom tray of the legs, don’t tighten all 4 screws at the top, makes it very hard to slide the tray between the legs without ruining the paint.
As for using the unit, after running a seasoning session, the meat came out great with the first use. The chicken had a nice smoky taste without being over powering (reminded me of cooking while camping over an open fire). The digital display helps to gauge where the best range would be for the temperature. Wish there was a way to gauge the temperature more than just high medium low while in sear mode.
Haven’t tried the smoker aspect, but unsure how much I will use that, as I have a larger unit snd this doesn’t allow for a safe place to add some moisture if required. Will come back to provide details if used.
Overall it’s after using it the first time, great unit. Will be curious to see how it lasts. My concern is with an auger moving all the time, how quickly does that wear out? Time will tell.

This pellet smoker is rock solid and fairly easy to assemble, just make sure you have an extra set of hands to help. This is by far one of the nicest smokers that I've seen on the market. I really like the way the shutdown process works by completely clearing the line, and the ability to drain the pellets right back into pail is AWESOME.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love This Pellet Grill

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, assembly was very easy. I really enjoy all the features of this pellet grill. It is a well thought out product. It is built really heavy and out of good materials. It will grill at higher temperatures than others and I really like this in cooler outdoor temperatures. The large grilling surface is nice and I like the options available by removing the center portion of the grate with the handy tool that is included. The large dual racks above are nice also. The probe works great and love the digital readout as well as the timer. The "beeping" notification for both the timer and internal food temp is a great plus. A unique feature is the ability to smoke or sear at the flip of the handle. Heat is distributed very evenly throughout the cooking surface. It is easy to empty the pellets from the hopper and having an attached bucket makes it very handy. This is by far the best pellet grill I have every owned. Overall a wonderful product and great value.

First Pellet smoker and it's amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never had a pellet smoker before and I love this thing! Have cooked so many different things and it excels at them all. The flavor imparted is amazing. The versatility is excellent. It's fun to cook with and makes great eats. It can BBQ low n slow, it can cook high temp pizzas and sear like a champ. The only quirk is the need to "cook-off" the remaining pellets after you dump them, but this is essentially a non-issue, as you clean the grill after use by running it on high til it runs out. Read the manual carefully to understand the start-up procedure of starting on the low GRILL setting, giving it about 5 minutes to prime the auger and start dumping pellets in the pot. You may or may not need to turn off and back on at the 5-6 minute mark to start the glow plug ignition process again if it doesn't fire up first. This a just a small hassle, but once understood, it's not that big a deal (to prevent auger jams). I've had several pellet grills and enjoy the simplistic genius of this one. No apps to crash, no folded app or controller updates with glitches, just simple and it functions to make great food.
I’m simply thrilled at how this grill operates and the intuitive features. It's setup perfectly, has plenty of room and is a solid smoker/cooker. The searing is absolute perfection! Best steaks ever and amazing rib smoker too. Love it. Pellet dump feature is so handy too.
Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Living in Texas, I eat a lot of good steaks at high-end steakhouses or BBQ's. After using the Rider Pellet Grill to grill my last NY Strip, I can now say I've had the best. The grill was easy to assemble, easy to power up, and made grilling the perfect steak super easy. I don't need to overspend at expensive restaurants anymore. I'll just go out on the back deck and use my Rider.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love to grill. We have a camp so I've decided this one will go to camp for the summer. I love the look of it. It has two different temperature settings one for grill and one for smoking. It came with a meat thermometer that plugs right into it. I absolutely love how easy it is to empty out the pellets and the bucket to store them in that came with. We have used it three times so far and everytime i pleased. My only complaint was there was a sticker up under the lid that took me forever to get it all off. Other than that, this is my new favorite grill.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oklahoma Joe's Rider Deluxe Pellet Grill is the perfect grill for the serious backyard cook. It smokes pork, ribs, chicken, and fish at a consistent temperature. I also used it to make a roast! It has a high temperature searing area that gives steaks a crisp crust and adds so much flavor. Love that I can choose different types of wood flavoring pellets.
