First it starts with the sticker under the lid, it peels off like a pop label. Then you learn you have to empty the pellet hopper after every use. Finally you go and plug it in and it comes up and error for the igniter.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hopper Malfunctioned after 2 Weeks!

Loved this grill. Easy to use, however the draw hopper drain malfunctioned after 2 weeks of use. Whenever I try to drain the pellets, only 1 drain door opens, therefore there is no way to drain the hopper completely. I only managed to use the grill three times before the drain malfunctioned. Followed every step in the manual. I ensured I cleared the hopper after every use, but still faced this problem. Disappointed the equipment malfunctioned just after three use, considering the price I paid for this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great grill except for one thing

I bought this grill back in January of this year. Since that time I have had two igniters go bad. Kind of disappointing that I have to take the grill apart every time this happens. Other than that I like the grill. Good strong solid construction.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this Memorial day weekend and just LOVE grilling and smoking on it! I haven't baked on it yet but I will for Thanksgiving!

My First Pellet Grill

I bought this grill 2 weeks ago and have loved ever use since my purchase. I spent a few hours getting to know my grill, and getting the temperature close from left to right. When messing with the chimney cap I was able to get the temperature with 5° from left to right. I love the sear capability of this grill and all the ample cooking surfaces. Looking forward to cooking this year's turkey on it!

Utter Disappoiintment

We had this for 6 weeks before it quit working in the middle of a smoke. 3+ months later, it is STILL in pieces waiting for parts. I expected more with the price.

When it worked it worked good. For 2 months. I have now replaced the motor 2 times. After changing the motor I got 1 use each time. Biggest piece of junk ever. I will not spend anymore money or time on the phone with another Char-Broil product. I now use it as a charcoal grill.

Good when it worked

I purchased the grill in August of 2020. In early 2021 started getting an error code, forget which one. In April 2021 I was sent a new control panel, did not fix the issue. In May of 2021 I was sent an igniter that did fix the problem. When replacing the igniter I found that the old one was not properly secured or positioned correctly. Now we are here 6 months later, 15 months after initial purchase, and the grill powers off shortly after preheat is complete, totally unusable. I replaced a 9 year old gas grill that cost half as much with this unit that lasted only a little more than a year. Not very cost effective. The grill was great when it worked.
