Ok first off, alot of the reviews for this grill are kicking it to the curb. Read the manual it helps, alot if the problems associated with this grill Are preventable, first screen your pellets to prevent sugar jams, this helps alot with jam. Second clean it accordingly, third read the manual. Alot if the complaints I notice is either assembly errors and realized that some folks may connect the wrong color wires during assembly I noticed this with my unit I purchase assembled, the temp and fan were hooked up completely wrong which caused a error on the display. I also fixed a few friends of mine that had the same issues with their grills as well. Since all the grills were fixed we have had know problems with them. I love the over all performance of how this beast cooks up some good eats. Chicken, steaks, seafood, pizza, pork belly it is all good. I would recommend this for beginners and advance pit masters. I do look forward to the future of Oklahoma Joe's pellet grills and hope to see future . I also own 3 more of their grill, smoker combos, plus a longhorn. I enjoy oklahoma joes product.

The best pellet grill ever

Transitioned from another popular new pellet grill from a major company. Thrilled at how this grill operates and the intuitive features. It's setup perfectly, has plenty of room and is a solid smoker/cooker. The searing is absolutely perfection! Best steaks ever and amazing rib smoker too. Love it. Pellet dump feature is so handy too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this thing. Have cooked so many different things and it excels at them all. The flavor imparted is amazing. The versatility is excellent. It's fun to cook with and makes great eats. It can BBQ low n slow, it can cook high temp pizzas and sear like a champ. The only quirk is the need to "cook off" the remaining pellets after you dump them, but this is essentially a non issue, as you clean the grill after use by running it on high til it runs out. Read the manual carefully to understand the start up procedure of starting on the low GRILL setting, giving it about 5 minutes to prime the auger and start dumping pellets in the pot. You may or may not need to turn off and back on at the 5-6 minute mark to start the glow plug ignition process again if it doesn't fire up first. This a just a small hassle, but once understood, it's really not that big a deal (to prevent auger jams). I've had several pellet grills and enjoy the simplistic genius of this one. No apps to crash, no folded app or controller updates with glitches, just simple and it functions to make great food. Highly recommend!

Three stars because I can't up the smoke without the heat like a traditional offset wood burning smoker. More pelets = more heat and I noticed some moments where there was no smoke at all. I do love the removable central peice thats separated from the standard grates, phenomenal design and the grate removing tool fits perfectly to where you can steadily move your pork butt out of the grill to rest. That same handle though could be longer and provide more leverage.

Bought it less than 10 months ago and already have had to replace the auger and igniter. Used all the proper pellets from the manufacturer to avoid any issues.
When it worked i did enjoy it.

In less than 6 months after new purchase it had broken down twice. It was delivered with a broken fan that was a nightmare for the retailer to resolve and then a few months later the auger motor stopped working. New replacement auger motor was recently installed after the winter and it also does not work. When it works I am very pleased with the smoking but the non-stop product failures are not worth it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this is November 2020 we have used it about 8 times the last row times the Auger started jamming up. Fixed it the last time we used in and now it did it again and we can’t get it to work. My husband works so hard and wanted this thing so bad. He is so down that it isn’t working. I hate to say it but I would not recommend this smoker. Spend the money and get a Treager.
